Who We Are :
In 1988, local safety advocates attended the first national Safe Kids Campaign Conference. Since 1995, the Charlotte Fire Department has led the coalition efforts with administrative support. The Charlotte Fire Department continues to lead the coalition, and dedicates staffing for coalition coordination. Grant and donation funded, the coalition thrives due to membership involvement. We encourage everyone interested in childhood injury prevention to consider joining our efforts. Please contact us for sponsorship opportunities.
