Who We Are :
The Charlotte Fire Department initiated the beginning of the local coalition in 1995. The Charlotte Fire Department continues to lead the coalition, and dedicates staffing for coalition coordination. Grant and donation funded, the coalition thrives due to membership involvement. Safe Kids Advisory Board members are elected members who oversee the Safe Kids Coalition. Interested in joining the Coalition? To learn more about us, Safe Kids Charlotte Mecklenburg meets the 1st Tuesday of each month, 11:30 am, at the Charlotte Fire Department Fire Prevention Bureau, 441 Beaumont Ave, Charlotte, NC 28204. Meetings are open to the public.
