Coalition Resource List

Safe Kids Charlotte Mecklenburg appreciates your interest in the Safe Kids Coalition and your request for our participation in your upcoming event. The Coalition is just that - a coalition of agencies who are interested in childhood injury prevention. Our primary focus is preventing injuries for children 14 and under by educating the public, advocating for child safety and conducting programs in our target areas. We have established guidelines for conducting our programs where they will be the most beneficial and educational. Programs such as a child safety seat clinic or a bicycle safety rodeo make the best impact as stand-alone events. For a "kids day,” “fun day” or other type of festival or display, we recommend you reach out to our member agencies for their support of your event. We would be glad to provide
educational materials for our members to display and distribute at your events.

The coalition meets the first Tues of each month, 11:30 am, at the Charlotte Fire Dept Fire Prevention Bureau, 441 Beaumont Ave.  You are welcome to attend and consider becoming a member of our coalition.
